Traconf
An InfinityID system has been implemented in the new Traconf distribution center for Armani in Verona, the system allows to reduce the search time for an item inside a warehouse of over 25,000 square meters.
After an in-depth analysis of the business processes of the costumer, it emerged that, due to a very high rotation of the items and the continuous requests from retail and the marketplaces, it is difficult to keep the information on the managerial software updated. Consequently, the actual location of the items in the warehouse is not always precise.
Thanks to RFID technology and the implementation of the InfinityID Item Locator solution, once the product code is entered on the portable device, the operator is guided with an acoustic signal to the requested item, without the risk of finding the wrong product.
